Q: How long does it take for Coastal Web Designer to build a website?
A: It can take anywhere from 2 to 8 weeks. We will work with you to discuss the details of your website and make sure it is built to your satisfaction.
Q: What types of websites does Coastal Web Designer build?
A: Coastal Web Designer specializes in building custom websites tailored to the needs of our clients. We can build any type of website, from a basic informational website to a complex e-commerce site.
Q: What kind of support does Coastal Web Designer provide?
A: We provide a full range of support services, from helping you select the right web hosting package to providing ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting. We will be with you every step of the way, ensuring that your website is always running smoothly.
There will be an option to select how much support you would like and that can be decided up to 1 week after the website is published.
Q: What happens after the 1 week that I can't add on support from CWD?
A: After 1 week of your website being published live, Coastal Web Design removes its rights from your site. Therefore, it is important to decide before that 1st week is up, if you would like more support in managing the site. Also, depending on what package you purchase from the host, they will also offer support.

Q: Why are there client private access pages?
A: The client private access pages are there throughout the design process. This is ONE area I collaborate with my clients and show them options before starting on their site. IF you choose to purchase a support package after your website is published and beyond the 1 week, you will have an active 'Client Private Access' page, where we can still collaborate and where you can receive support, as needed.

Q: Can other clients see my private access page?
A: No. Each client receives a completely unique password generated for their page, and no one else has access, abilities, or rights to that page. It is completely your private access area, for you and anyone else you give the password to.

Q: Do I have to make a deposit to work with Coastal Web Designer?
A: Yes, deposits are required to secure the time slot for me to start working on your website. This deposit is nonrefundable.
Q: Is there a way to make sure Coastal Web Designer is the right fit for me before I make a deposit?
A: Yes, I do have a consultation time you can book to make sure this is the right fit for you before you make a deposit.
Q: Does Coastal Web Designer offer refunds?
A: Deposits are nonrefundable. I recommend booking a consultation to make sure Coastal Web Designer is the right fit for you before you make a deposit.

Q: Do you accept payment by Venmo, Zelle, check, cash and credit card?
A: Yes, we accept payment by Venmo, Zelle, check, cash and credit card. If you choose to pay by credit card, there will be an additional 3.75% added for tax purposes.
Q: How do I secure my spot?
A: The first initial payment secures your spot.
Q: How many payments do I need to make?
A: Generally, we limit up to four overall payments. Your payment schedule will be written up in the proposal before we begin the process. The last payment is due before the website is published for active use.

A: I offer web design services, including custom website design, website development, and website maintenance. I can also create a tutorial for you on managing your website, so you can keep your website up and running.
Q: What kind of websites can you design?
A: I specialize in creating modern, user-friendly, and responsive websites that look great on any device. I also have experience in creating custom landing pages, ecommerce websites, and more.
Q: Do you offer website management services?
A: In most cases, companies want to manage their own websites. However, I do offer a package including website management if you want that for your business as well.
Q: What hosting service do you use for websites?
A: I use Wix as a host for all of my websites.
Q: What type of packages do you offer for web hosting?
A: During our initial consultations, I will present yearly, 2 year, or 3 year package options. The package you choose will be included with your web design package for the duration of the specified time.
Q: What happens after the specified time?
A: After the specified time, you will be responsible for payment to keep your website published. I suggest using auto-renew to ensure that your website stays active.

Q: Are your design & boards the only ones to choose from?
A: No. The ones featured on this website are only examples. There are many more to choose from and each website is unique.
Q: What if I want a photo or feature that is on this website, to be included on my website? Is there a copyright issue or can I use some of your features?
A: You can absolutely use anything you see on this website. My job is to ensure your success! If you see something you like and it aligns with your vision, I am happy to utilize it for your website.
Q: I see some animations and videos on your site here. Can I also include something like that on my site, even a personal site?
A: Yes, of course! These animations and videos only touch the surface of the possibilities for your design. All of these and more are available to you as my client!

Q: Do I have to have my own photos and videos for making the website?
A: No. As a website designer, I have access to thousands of photos and videos for all themes imaginable, that are available for client use and included with your package. You can certainly use your own if you have them and choose to, but it is not a requirement.
